Non-Competitive Cheer
A positive, beginner-friendly class where athletes can build confidence, learn cheerleading fundamentals and have fun as part of a team.
Athletes will practice age-appropriate cheer motions, jumps, basic tumbling, stunting, dance and cheer routines while developing strength, flexibility, coordination and teamwork.
This class emphasizes skill development and confidence rather than competition. No previous cheerleading experience is required—just a willingness to learn, work hard and have fun!
Perfect for: Beginners and athletes who want to enjoy cheerleading without the commitment of competitive cheer.
🤸 Tumbling
Athletes can build their tumbling skills while improving strength, flexibility, coordination and body control. Families should contact The Next Step for current class availability and placement information.
🏆 Competitive Dance Company
The Next Step has a traveling Dance Company that performs and competes throughout the United States.
Its dancers compete at both the regional and national levels, providing committed students with opportunities to grow as performers and represent their studio in competition.
