🌊 Warrick Indiana Tidal Wave Swimming

WIN Tidal Wave offers a complete swimming-development pathway, from introductory water-safety instruction to advanced USA Swimming competition. Swimmers can begin by learning foundational skills through Aqua School, progress into introductory competitive swimming with Riptides and continue developing through WIN’s advanced Tidal Wave competitive groups.

WIN Tidal Wave’s mission is to help every swimmer reach their highest potential in and out of the water while developing athletes, leaders and positive role models in a safe, healthy and supportive environment.

WIN Tidal Wave was formed in August 2024 when the Newburgh Sea Creatures and Boonville Dolphins combined their programs, resources and coaching experience to create a unified Warrick County swim club.

New families who are unsure of the appropriate level should contact Aqua School for placement assistance.

🌊 Riptides

Riptides is WIN’s introductory competitive team. It gives swimmers and families an opportunity to experience competitive swimming while continuing to improve technique, endurance and confidence.

Swimmers work toward developing all four competitive strokes and may participate in monthly fun meets and limited sanctioned competitions. Riptides swimmers must register with USA Swimming using the appropriate membership option.

Typical practice schedule:

  • Monday, Tuesday and Thursday

  • 5:30–6:30 p.m.

  • Short Course Season: August–March

  • Long Course Season: April–July

An evaluation is recommended to determine whether a swimmer is ready for Riptides.

🏆 Tidal Wave Competitive Team

Tidal Wave is WIN’s advanced competitive program for swimmers ready to develop and compete at a higher level.

Swimmers continue mastering all four strokes, racing skills and advanced techniques. The team participates in locally hosted meets, regional competitions, meets in the Indianapolis area and occasional travel events based on the swimmer’s level.

The competitive team includes the following training groups:

  • Elementary Blue

  • Elementary Red

  • Middle School

  • High School

  • High School–IHSAA

All competitive swimmers must maintain the appropriate USA Swimming membership. Group placement is based on a swimmer evaluation rather than age alone.

📅 2026–2027 Short Course Season

The current WIN Riptides and Tidal Wave Short Course Season runs from August 2026 through March 2027.

Registration fee for all competitive groups: $100

Current season dues:
